  1. Look! I wrote a sonnet.

    The Lonely Ghost
    -~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~

I love you like the seasons that go by,
Winter, spring, summer, and throughout the fall,
Your arms warm me, you grant life with one sigh,
Your face brightens everyday, one and all.

Like the colors of leaves, you change swiftly,
Like a ghost in the distance, you are gone,
I have searched, but you are not with me.
I am empty. You have left me, alone.

Like a small child, I will believe in you,
And I place my faith in your sacrament.
I will breathe my offerings and prayers too,
Wishing, hoping, that the seasons never went.

Come back to me and send the ghosts away.
Only you can keep loneliness at bay.
